DANDYPOP! — Art Direction & Playful Community Engagement
DANDYPOP! Is a small-scale offshoot of Dandy Brewing, created for narredowell kids. We’re the BAD BOYS of the soda world.
As Art Director and Designer, I developed its branding and visual identity (playful, kid-punk, and never too serious), while ensuring it still connected back to the larger Dandy Brewing family. DANDYPOP! leans into vibrant, irreverent visuals that set it apart in Alberta’s craft beverage scene. It even has stickers you can peel off and tag stuff with (not that i’d ever ask some1 to do that HA-HA.)
DPOP Hosted the Dandy Drawing Club, a creative meetup that encouraged casual, collaborative art-making as well as got involved with cultural events like Sled Island’s ALL-AGER RAGER (-18 event), helping create spaces where youth could engage with arts and live music.
We’ve teamed up with Edmonton’s SNAP Gallery to provide Dandypop sodas at their annual Print Affair Show. This ARTSY event is a fundraiser and celebration of printmaking. Irreverent soda meets a community-driven art event.

OFF THE CAN AND INTO A SPACE: selling sodas out of gleaming garbage cans at events, creating fun photo-op stations, and turning distribution into a sugar-filled all-nonsense experience. LIMITED BUDGET $$$

Burping Hazard Apparel FEAT: Burnt Toast Studios
As part of DPOP’s, youth-driven brand identity, I collaborated with Alberta-Based Burnt Toast Studios on a limited-edition apparel line with Champion. The collection blended absurdist, Neo-Clip illustration with streetwear, extending the brands cultural footprint beyond beverages and events into lifestyle branding. The drop gained strong online traction and became a recognizable expression of our playful, subcultural voice.

We TEAMED with Sled Island to throw the ALL-AGER RAGER. This event is SODA FUELLED, where -18 punks could finally get LOUD without being kicked out at the bar door. DANDYPOP! leaned into the ALL AGES energy to give younger fans the same sweaty, foot-throwin’ fun as everyone else. CAN’T LET THE COOL KIDS MISS OUT.
